「小王」跟「小三」的英文大多一樣啦，還有「工具人」、「壁咚」與「婚外情」的英文學起來可以教別人嗄。

之前聽TIME的新聞廣播，學到了「西瓜偎大邊」的英文。這讓教練想起好幾年前流行的那句「賤人就是矯情」，曾經蟬聯部落格熱門榜好久。後來才又增加了「人魚線」的英文。語文是活的東西，所以當下流行的字彙不可不知啊。

• 西瓜偎大邊的英文是： 

Everyone wants to be on the side of the winner.

• 壁咚的英文如下：

to pin someone against/to the wall = to hold someone against the wall so that they can't move away. 

Example: 例句

John pinned me to the wall with his skinny arms.
還有啥是duff？
此字為下面這串字的縮寫 - designated ugly fat friend. 此字男女通用。

Duff就是每一個美女(帥哥)身邊那個醜肥的丫環(或書僮)朋友啊，此字有貶意所以不要被人家叫duff。

以下是近來當紅的英美流行詞彙，與大家一併分享

• 歐美喜劇片裡面播放的罐頭笑聲，英文是 laugh track或 laughter track。
• 束身衣的英文可說成是shapewear。之前可能用girdle 或Spanx。
• 調酒師已經不叫 bartenders, they are politically known as mixologists!
• 炒熱派對氣氛的英文是 get a party buzz going or set the mood。
• 波霸上流名媛是 a socialite bimbo (如果名媛貧乳，就只需要說a socialite即可/或 or a flat-chested/not so well-endowed socialite)

順便教大家，well-endowed就是形容女性胸大的意思，男人如果某些器官很壯觀，一樣可以用這個字。

這些波霸上流名媛出席社交場合時手臂上掛著的小狗則稱做 handbag dogs (啊哇哈哈哈哈)

• 放閃的英文是 PDA = Public display of affection. 

• 男生的小弟弟，可說成 love's sweet arrow (教練的美國好友最近分享的哈哈哈)

• 被發好人卡的英文是：to be in the Friend Zone. 句子可以是：

Dave was put in the friend zone by that girl he really liked. 
( Friend Zone 或 friend zone/friendzone都有人用)

• 工具人的英文是：an errand boy/girl

例句：My ex-boyfriend didn't really love me. He was just using me as his "errand girl."
(errand是瑣事或是雜務的意思，to run some errands就是去辦一些瑣事)

被當工具人很可悲，但更悲劇的是被當成doormat腳踏墊，意思就是可以任人踐踏啊。這可是工具人的進階版下場哩。遇到這種情人記得快逃啊！
