之前聽TIME的新聞廣播，學到了「 西瓜偎大邊 」的英文。這讓教練想起好幾年前流行的那句「 賤人就是矯情 」，曾經蟬聯部落格熱門榜好久。後來才又增加了「 人魚線 」的英文。語文是活的東西，所以當下流行的字彙不可不知啊。 西瓜偎大邊的英文是 ：  Everyone wants to be on the side of the winner . 壁咚 的英文如下： to pin someone against/to the wall = to hold someone against the wall so that they can't move away.  Example: 例句 John pin ned me to the wall with his skinny arms. 還有啥是 duff ？ 此字為下面這串字的縮寫 - d esignated u gly f at f riend . 此字男女通用。 Duff就是每一個美女(帥哥)身邊那個醜肥的丫環(或書僮)朋友啊，此字有貶意所以不要被人家叫duff。 教練丟個duff例句來給各位瞧瞧： Wow, that duff is hanging out with her two pretty friends, too bad! 以下是近來當紅的英美流行詞彙，與大家一併分享 歐美喜劇片裡面播放的 罐頭笑聲 ，英文是 laugh track 或 laughter track 。 束身衣 的英文可說成是 shapewear 。之前可能用girdle 或Spanx。 調酒師 已經不叫 bartenders, they are politically known as mixologists ! 炒熱派對氣氛 的英文是 get a party buzz going or set the mood 。 波霸上流名媛 是   a socialite bimbo  (如果名媛貧乳，就只需要說a socialite即可/或 or a flat-chested/not so well-endowed socialite) 順便教大家， well-endowed 就是形容 女性胸大 的意思...

Ocean Horror Show: Dead Sea Birds With          Bellies Full of Plastic Garbage 塑膠跟金屬玻璃不同，塑膠不能透過再融化去進行提煉。塑膠在水沸點以下就會開始溶解，塑膠不會吸附油性污染物。美國人每五分鐘會消耗兩百萬個塑膠飲料瓶。海底的塑膠會傷害海洋中的動物。請大家去海邊玩不要亂丟垃圾，塑膠製品更不要亂丟。請隨身帶環保袋。讓地球跟其他的動物可以活得久一點。                            上圖的烏龜被塑膠瓶蓋的塑膠環套住了，以至於身體變形。 這些都是去戲水的人所遺留下來的垃圾。地球無法消化塑膠。信天翁在覓食時，吞食了塑膠，然後會再將這些東西餵給幼鳥吃，造成許多鳥類死亡。攝影師去海灘拍照，結果發現陳屍海灘的海鳥，肚子裡全是塑膠垃圾。之前我們聽過NPR的報導，看到人們為了象牙恣意屠殺大象。現在看到人類把塑膠袋丟進海裡面，害死了一堆海洋動物， 眼不見為淨是自私的行為 。我相信大家如果真的有心，一定會記得把垃圾帶走，不要亂丟瓶瓶罐罐的東西。舉手之勞是可以改變地球的。 下載聲音檔請點我 下載填空卷請點我 下載解析版請點我

Time to tidy things up folks, it will do you goooood! On being a Neat Freak I use these small paper boxes to create little compartments in my drawers. This is a great storage idea! Neat freak/clean freak/cleanaholic  = 潔癖 These are the things people say when they come over to my place: “Do you actually live here?” “Ya Chun, life is too short to be spent on household chores. You need to stop.”      “You really need to enjoy your life more!” “Do you even have a life? “ “Stop doing the dishes in the kitchen! Come on out and talk to us.” “You need to see a doctor. I’m serious.” Cat space. Works out just fine. This is where I work. A clutter-free space. I focus better when my place is clean and tidy.  I have a confession to make (well, it’s not much of a secret anymore): I just LOVE straightening up things in the house. I admit that I’m a cleanaholic. Some people call me a clean freak but I don't mind....
