最夯的英文新字都在「怪字新學」！Learn something new and stay ahead !

英文是個與時俱進的語言，一定要時時翻新才跟得上時代。教練教大家的都是最新鮮的英文，不是五十年前的老英文。「怪字新學」這個單元加上教練寫的「英文幫幫忙」，讓你輕鬆駕馭當下最潮的英文字彙。

近年來英文中的合體字/混成字非常流行(如dramedy 指的是結合劇情片與喜劇這種笑中帶淚的作品，或是結合了flight與nightmare的flightmare - 旅行噩夢)。怪字新字天天都有。這邊教練替大家整理了很多流行新字，這些字詞要是看不懂，看電影聽新聞就會霧煞煞喔。
學英文也可以很有趣，更重要的是你可以跟身邊的親朋好友賣弄一下這些新字，保證讓大家對你的英文程度感到佩服。

這些英文字你看得懂嗎?

Copyleft	此字為英文copyright的反義字。指的是沒有任何版權的東西，歡迎大家自由取用分享，如教練部落格上的資源就是啦。
cosmeceutical	這個字是從pharmaceutical(藥的)這個字來的。中文說的美妝店裡面賣的保養品都屬於這個範疇。
Couch commerce	在家中網購的商務行為Buying goods online from one's home.
drool-worthy	任何好到讓你流口水的人事物。Something so attractive or exciting that it makes you want to have it e.g. a drool-worthy dress, a drool-worthy cake, etc.
Flexitarian	彈性素食者(意即偶爾會吃些海鮮或是肉類的素食者)A vegetarian who sometimes eats meat or fish.
freemale	這個字是female女性的變種。意思是獨立自主且不需要找個男人或是長期飯票的新時代女性。
Flightmare	此字為flight 與nightmare的合體字。指的是旅行途中不愉快的經驗，如遺失行李錢財或是錯過班機等倒楣事。
flog	就是fake blog。很多廠商搞一些假部落格推銷商品，搞得很像真的有人在經營其實都是行銷伎倆啦
Frape	這是face book 跟rape合體字。就是未經本人同意就去這個人的臉書上擅自篡改或是上傳資料的行為。
Greycation	繼daycation, staycation之後又有這種新字，greycation就是為了省點旅費帶著阿公阿嬤一起去旅遊的行為(而且還要阿公阿嬤出旅費喔真是大不孝)
Haycation	去農場度假。Hay是稻草。
ICE number	In Case of Emergence就是緊急電話啦
mocktail	不含酒精的雞尾酒
HENRY	就是高薪(在美國尤指年薪介於十萬至二十五萬美元)但尚未成為真正爆發戶之前的人 HENRY是下面這幾個字的縮寫 Abbreviation of high earner not rich yet; refers to a person with an income between $100,000 and $250,000.
Jigsaw family	拼圖家庭 離婚率高的今日社會，男女離婚後各自嫁娶，帶著上一段婚姻所生的小孩再度組成家庭，與現任的配偶又再生下小孩，這種家庭就是jigsaw family.

6. Freemale (adj.) (n)

• She has embraced a freemale lifestyle, traveling the world solo and focusing on her career without being tied down by a traditional family life.
• My aunt is a proud freemale who prefers to spend her time with her diverse group of friends rather than pursuing a serious romantic relationship."

7. Flightmare (n)

After the plane was delayed for seven hours with no food or water, the passengers described the entire ordeal as a complete flightmare."

8. Flog (n)

Chloe purchased a box of soap from a flog she found online. 

9. Frape (n)

I just discovered that I’ve been fraped!

10. Greycation (n)

Chloe and her family were on a greycation last week. 

11. Haycation (n)

My friend Jennie went on a haycation with her parents last month. 

12. ICE number (n)

13. Mocktail (n)

We had a few mocktails at her place and left at around midnight. 

14. Jigsaw Family (n)
